The 2023 CrossFit Open is fast approaching and athletes around the world, whether high level competitors or everyday gym-goers, have begun preparing for the 3-week, initial qualifying stage of the CrossFit competitive season. For athletes that have participated in the past, there are certain memorable elements such as Thrusters and Chest-to-Bar pull-ups which have appeared every year since 2017, but there's only one specific movement that has been in the CrossFit Open every single year since its inception in 2011 – the Toes-to-Bar! For individuals looking to compete in the Open this year, this movement should be a priority.
Toes to Bar Workshop
If you want to get your first Toes to Bar or progress towards +10 Unbroken Toes to Bar, you don't want to miss our upcoming workshop on Saturday 21st January at 1PM.
In our 2 hour seminar we will break the movement of toes to bar down to its infancy before rebuilding step by step until we have the necessary prerequisites and skills to be efficient in the movement. Throughout this session we will have both educational and practical segments before finishing off with a team sweat workout. There are no prerequisites for this seminar. We however do recommend bringing grips if you have them as we will be spending a large amount of time on the bar.
What to expect:

Warm-up: A fun, interactive primer to help clients with body awareness and mind-muscle connection.
Testing: Progressions and testing to identify individual limitations.
